Spaceport in ARC Raiders isn't scary because it's "hard." It's scary because it tricks you into playing on rails. People sprint to the obvious buildings, crash into the same fights, then wonder why their stash looks empty. Slow it down. Take the edges. If you're trying to get set up without broadcasting your position, having a plan matters more than hero aim, and even stuff like arc raiders coins cheap won't save a run if you keep walking into the busiest sightlines on the map.



Quiet upgrades before the first gunfight
One of my favourite "nobody's here" routes starts on that dusty road between Maintenance Harbor and Fuel Storage. Follow it out toward the little spherical structure in the sand. Tucked nearby is a weapon crate that a lot of squads just never bother with, because it's not on their mental checklist. Same idea in the East Container Yard: don't glue your eyes to ground level. Drift over toward the big crane and scan the containers around it. A weapon crate can spawn there and it's weird how often it's untouched. You're not looking for a miracle gun every time—just something that beats the starter kit before the map heats up.



Look up, not just around
The Rifle Building is where you see bad habits on repeat. Folks sweep the first floor, hear a shot somewhere else, and instantly rotate. Instead, get up on the roof and actually take a second to check the corners. Med bags and ammo crates pop up in spots that are easy to miss when you're rushing. Those early heals matter when a fight drags, or when you take chip damage from ARC fire and don't want to burn a full reset. Also keep an eye out for odd little ledges in underground sections—crafting mats like magnetic accelerator parts often end up on those awkward, elevated lips nobody climbs.



Keys are nice, but gear gets you in
Trench Towers is the classic example. Loads of players assume it's a dead stop without the right key. It isn't. Bring a zipline or snap hook, go up to the roofline, and work your way inside from above. You can pull backpacks and hit the red containers without ever touching the front door. Control Tower AS6 has a similar vibe: the locked room still wants a key, sure, but you can zip to the outside platform, grab a backpack, and hold a nasty angle on anyone who enters "the normal way." It's not flashy. It just works.



Risk management, clean exits, and fast restocks
Rocket Assembly Building is worth a rooftop peek because a rare weapon crate can spawn up there, plus the scaffolding can hide grenade cases if you're the type who likes having options. If you spawn near Security Checkpoint and it feels cursed, don't tilt—check Staff Parking's roof and the area by the electrical substation for extra backpacks, then rotate with cover. Arrival Building has an alternate way in too, which lets you loot without announcing yourself with a loud breach. And when it's time to leave, don't just yeet yourself off Launch Tower; use the ledges or catch the zipline late to keep your legs.
